Bookslut is always open to new writers. Our contributors list grows every issue, but I am still always looking for new reviewers, interviewers, feature article writers, and columnists.

Single review submission policy:

If you have a book you would like to review, but you're not interested in writing for Bookslut regularly, e-mail me the review as a text attachment by the 15th of the month. Read our previously printed reviews to get a feel for length and type of reviews. We're not printing blurbs here.

Application to become a regular contributor:

At this time, Bookslut is not looking for new columnists. We do, however, always need new reviewers. If you're interested in becoming a regular reviewer, submit a writing sample and a short description of the types of books you'd be interested in reviewing. At the moment I am most interested in reviewers for poetry, history, and small press fiction.
